Karen Dahmen

was born May 12, 1988 as the third child of four in Elsenborn, Belgium. As she finished school, she moved to Berlin to study drama for four years at the University of Arts Berlin, from which she graduated in 2011. While studying, she already played some parts at the “Deutsches Theater Berlin”. After several short films directed by i.a. J. Hommer, W. Wonneberger, she played Jaqueline in “Ein starkes Team” (ZDF, dir: M. Kinkel) and then the part of Mara in her first feature film „Halb so wild“ (dir: J. Dreyfus). She has been an ensemble member at the “Theater und Orchester Heidelberg” since 2011. From September 2013 on she will be an ensemble memer at the Staatstheater Nürnberg.
